Looking for Lu Hongjian but Not Finding Him
You moved beyond the city wall,
Where the rural path crosses mulberry and hemp,
Near a planted hedge of chrysanthemum,
Not blooming, though autumn has come.
Knocking on your door, no answer, not even the bark of a dog.
Wishing to leave, I asked your neighbor to the west.
He said you go off into the mountains,
Returning with each setting sun.

移家雖帶郭
野徑入桑麻
近種籬邊菊
秋來未著花
扣門無犬吠

報道山中去
